Overview
Small, accessible cafe-restaurant in the centre of Dawlish, with accessible toilet. Serves lovely food.
Transport & Parking
Dawlish Train Station and bus stops are a 3-5 minute walk away. There is street and car parking close by, but be aware the area can be very busy.
Access
There is some free standing tables and chairs on the pavement outside the cafe. Entrance is by a very small step, see photo. Inside there are free standing tables and chairs, spaciously laid out.
Toilets
The door to the accessible toilet is directly off the seating area. The toilet was clean and spacious with grab rails. There is no emergency cord, but I think given location I think if you called out for help you would be easily heard.
Staff
Service was wonderful. When you arrive you wait to be served and it is table service. Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I felt covid confident as seating was well spaced out. The food was delicious. I had macaroni cheese. I was meeting a friend who lives in Dawlish and who I hadn't seen since before shielding, so forgive me that I didn't photograph my food or take more photos. This is a really lovely cafe, very accessible and friendly staff. It's in a central location in the town centre. Would be very happy to return.
