Overview
Tram lines serving the eastern and southern outskirts of the city and some suburbs further out offer a regular service and ease of access. As on all public transport in Paris you need to be aware of pickpockets.
Transport & Parking
Can't comment on parking. The tram network offers good connections with Paris bus services, which are wheelchair accessible, and with the Metro, most of which is not.
Access
Level access from platform to tram. Each tramcar set has two designated wheelchair spaces which can be found by looking for the wheelchair logo next to the relevant doors. Doors are operated by push buttons at a reachable height. The wheelchair spaces are clearly signed with an explanation that other passengers should free them up if a wheelchair user boards the tram. Some do, some don't. The machines for validating tickets are at a height which a wheelchair user can reach. Trams stop at all designated stops on their routes, so there is no need ti request a stop. Changng from Line 3a to Line 3b involves crossing a busy road, but there is a pedestrian crossing.

Staff
There are no conductors or guards. Drivers seem alert to the needs of wheelchair users but are not in a position to intervene if other passengers are blocking the wheelchair spaces.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
This is a pleasant and rapid way to travel, though it won't get you to the main tourist attractions in the city centre.
