Overview
Decent new build hotel with accessible rooms. The accessible rooms were put at the furthest away point which is very annoying and tiring. All rooms are walk in showers so I changed to a regular room by the lift instead, but im semi ambulant Staff very friendly and helpful. Bar and restaurant way too slow. I saw people walk out. You are better off going next door to the service station for dinner and drinks. The shop sells wine and beer too. The pizza express was accessible. The breakfast buffet staff were helpful and helped me with food and drinks. I liked this venue because it's new build so all on one level with several food, coffee and shop outlets next door. You don't have to go far. It's good for a stopover or a business trip. Not a holiday hotel. The are walks around Skelton lake if you have a motorised or electric wheelchair. I sat at the benches outside eating pizza express in the fresh air. That felt like a treat. I could get Starbucks in the service station next door. I felt like I had many choices for food and drink onsite with wheelchair access.

Access
Good accessible rooms but the one I had was at far end of building and I only wanted to do that trip once. Once I got to my room I couldn't be bothered going back down to bar. Was too far. Very big building.
Toilets
Huge wet room with lots of hand rails and seated shower. Lots of turning space. Modern, huge wet room for wheelchair users. I had no towels and had to wait 45mins which was frustrating. The normal rooms are walk in showers for ambulant users.
Staff
Very friendly and helpful staff. But bar and dinner so slow. Breakfast staff helped me
