Accessible Pedal in the Park – Saturday March 11th 2017, 10am-3.30pm
To celebrate Disabled Access Day 2017, Quest 88 invite you to an open day at the Inclusive Cycling Hub as well as providing an opportunity for people to cycle who perhaps wouldn’t otherwise, either due to illness, a disability or a lack of confidence.
Disabled Access Day is all about celebrating access for people with disabilities and providing opportunities to try something new. The position of the Inclusive Cycling Hub and the proximity of the park provides a great opportunity for you to try cycling and feel the breeze through your hair in lovely surroundings.
We will have available a number of special cycles, tandems, handcycles and tricycles for you to have a pedal in Shrewsbury’s town park, together with some coaching and bags of encouragement – oh, plus a coffee and a cake at Stop Café on us!
Please contact us to book a slot and to give us an idea of what you would like to achieve. We will be running the event from 10am – 3.30pm with bikes available on a first come first served basis. You can contact us on 01743 363512 or email us at cycling@quest88.com
The Inclusive Cycling Hub is based next to the park entrance at Greyfriars. Parking is available in Greyfriars car park.
