Overview
The Stadium has great access and the wheelchair seats have a superb view of the field and track. Loos are clearly marked and well equipped. The Park is beautiful and has lovely smooth paths, with lots of seating at regular intervals.
Transport & Parking
Unfortunately it's about 20 minutes walk or wheel from Stratfird underground. Buses may get you ckoser though we didn't take the bus. Once at the entrance to the Park, it's five minutes walk/wheel to the Stadium. However the path is smooth.
Access
Paths around the park are smooth and mostly level (depending on the route you choose, there are a few slopes, though nothing too steep). There are lots of benches for rests. Inside the Stadium, floors are level. Wheelchair seats are accessed at ground level (though there are about 20 rows lower down, once you get into the Stadium). There's a small ramp to get into the wheelchair seating bay. Plenty of room to manoeuvre a wheelchair. I had a fantastic view from my space and my carer was seated next to me.
Toilets
The loo I used was close to my seating area. It was radar key operated. It was basic in terms of decor but well equipped, it was unisex.
Staff
Stewards and volunteers were plentiful (we were at Para athletics world championship). They were exemplary.
