Park Mobility service
The Park Mobility service is delivered by Our Parklife, the Park’s Community Interest Company which delivers volunteering, training and employment opportunities on the Park.
The Park Mobility service operates on a daily basis (seven days a week) 10am-3pm and consists of a mobility ‘golf’ buggy going to our Park venues picking up customers who require assistance. This is a free service that operates on a pre-set route and departs from the Park Information Point every hour (10am-3pm). As part of this service, we also rent scooters (£5) and wheelchairs (£3) within the Information Point opening hours.
- In addition to our service as usual, an extra 3‘golf’ buggies will be dedicated to the Disabled Access Day visitors and offer them a “free tour of the Park”.
- Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with our Park Champion volunteers and learn a bit more about the services we provide.
- When renting scooters, we will explain our new scooter tracking system and invite the scooter users to have a look at their ‘snail trail’ of where they’ve been once they return to the Information Point.
Sighted Guide activities
As part of the Paralympic legacy, Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park has been designed to be as accessible as possible for all visitors. The community sighted guides form an important part of the Park’s wider Park Mobility service. Over 25 volunteers have received the training and are ready and raring to get guiding!
- Sighted guide trained Park Champions will offer tours of the Park to visitors with visual impairment.
- We will take this opportunity to educate other visitors by blindfolding and guiding them to let them experience how it feels being guided around the Park

We will also be launching our Park Mobility annual membership scheme at the Information Point.
