Overview
Went to some album release concerts run by Banquet Records at Pryzm. I was impressed with how well they managed accessibility and I would definitely recommend.
Transport & Parking
There were some blue badge parking spaces a walk from the venue that are free. No parking really close though. There is a station and buses nearby.
Access
It’s an old building so some issues but generally really good. Toilet on ground floor. Seating on a different floor. There is a lift that is operated by staff. Now I’m a powerchair user I need to operate this independently, due to the weight limits of the lift. Staff are accepting of this. They have a viewing area with bar stools. I could see over the bar at the edge of the platform but a much shorter person might struggle.
Toilets
It was generally clean enough with everything in. Flush slightly difficult and water had a tendency to come out strong and fast from the tap! Near in mind the accessible loo is near the entry and there isn’t one near the viewing area. You may need to plan around this.
Staff
All amazing (I only saw Banquet Records staff). They organise early entry so you can get in and into a space before everyone else. They are always really helpful before, during and after the show.
