Princes Mall Centre
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Hearing Aid, Wheelchair
Overview
This shopping centre is on Princess St and is made up of a number of units over 3 floors. The lower ground this is the food court area and has a good selection of outlets to suit a range of tastes. The 1st floor and ground floor are all non food stores.
Transport & Parking
There is no parking in this area however Princess St is only a minute or so away and has buses going to a range of places. There is also the trams as well that run between Edinburgh Airport and York St. Waverly train station is also near to the venue so this gives us a good train service available.
Access
The disability access is via the Waverly Bridge side of the venue there is a ramp on the side nearest to the station. The signage in the venue is not that great and it took some time to find the 1 lift that goes between all the floors. The lift is small and as a result one wheelchair and a carer is about the maximum it can take.
Toilets
These are located in the lower ground next to the food court area. However we did not visit this area. Again the signage to the toilets is not that great.
Staff
Being a range of stores there is a variety of staff however the ones we meet in the food court were fine
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There is another access point to the venue from the North Bridge St Side but we did not use this access.
