Really Nice Food but Platform Lift has been Out of Service for a While

Overview
Prezzo is a restaurant chain serving Italian food. I booked this restaurant as it was close to my hotel and it offered outdoor seating. I loved the food and the terrace. However, if you have a mobility impairment please be aware that the platform lift has been out of service for a while and they are awaiting a replacement. When I visited in June 2022 they were unable to give me a date when it will be replaced.
Transport & Parking
The restaurant is very central, just round the corner from the Lower Gardens and The Pavilion Theatre. I walked from my nearby hotel but there are several buses that stop nearby. If you are travelling by bus please look at google street view to see where the stop is as Bournemouth is very hilly.
Access
The restaurant is located on the 1st floor and is accessed by a short flight of stairs. At the main entrance there was a platform lift which was out of order. From discussions with staff and twitter it appears that the lift has been out of action for a long time, and they are awaiting a new lift to be installed. Although there was only about 5-8 steps with hand rail, they twisted round at the bottom (sorry I thought I had taken a photo but it is just of the lift), so it was a bit of a struggle to get up the stairs. The restaurant had free standing table and chairs and offered indoor and outdoor seating. I am clinically vulnerable so I don't want to take my mask off indoors, so the terrace was perfect and from my seat I could even see the sea in the distance. I booked for 7.45pm and there was one other table briefly occupied and then I had the terrace to myself. There is a second set of stairs leading from the terrace and I used these when I left, see photo. They have a 90 degree turn at the top and then a handrail just on one side, on the right when you are going down. Neither set of stairs was easy for me due to the turn and angle.
Toilets
An accessible toilet is mentioned on their website but I didn't use it.
Staff
I had pre-booked an outdoor table and I was welcomed in. Service was excellent.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
The food was very nice and there was a good selection of Italian food on the menu, with vegan and some gluten- free options. I had Garlic Bread with Balsamic Onions & Mozzarella followed by Erba Cipollina, their summer special pizza, with mozzarella, sour cream and chives, which was a a really delicious combination. It was served with knife, folk and pizza cutter. The location and outside terrace was excellent. there was a nice atmosphere. I would recommend the restaurant but if you require step free access please check ahead directly with the restaurant to see if the lift is fixed.
