Cosy accessible venue for a festive afternoon tea. If they'd just rehang the loo door it'd be almost perfect!

Overview
Great service from lovely staff in a reasonably accessible venue. Please note this review is of the main building, not 'The Stables'.
Transport & Parking
Plenty of parking in the grounds outside the building. Taxi can drop off at the front or back entrance to the building. A member of staff was stationed at the front door to direct visitors to wherever they needed to be.
Access
The bloke at the front door directed my taxi driver round to the back of the building and came to meet us at what he called the 'VIP entrance' - I was glad I'd dressed up! The road sloped down to this door (double width) and then he pointed me to the lift just inside the door. Quite a cosy lift but luckily you drive in and out in the same direction - so no three point turn needed. Up two floors and he met me when I drove out of the lift and handed me over to a colleague who took me to my table.
Toilets
The accessible loo is beside the back door, so back down in the lift. It took a few goes to get in to the loo as it's really tight. Eventually I worked out that in order to get in and close the door I had to reverse in. Really not sure how someone in a wheelchair would manage. There's a baby changing table hinged to the wall too, and again I can't imagine how someone could get in while holding a baby and lower the changing table and close the door... maybe it's designed for jugglers?! All of this would be really easily fixed by making the door open outwards instead of inwards. All spotless and with lovely toiletries, as you might expect. I was a bit embarrassed to have to leave my paper towels on the sink, as the bin was a tiny pedal bin and I couldn't stand on one leg to open it.
Staff
Couldn't be nicer. Dead relaxed, personable and not at all stuffy. They all seemed genuinely happy at their work. Gorgeous uniforms.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
All staff (correctly) wearing face coverings. Windows open to encourage air flow. Surfaces being regularly sprayed down and wiped.
