Overview
The hotel was booked for an overnight stay to avoid the M25 on the day of a flight. It was easy to find, mostly easy to get into and the room was great. No aircraft noise in our room. Perfect wet room.
Transport & Parking
There's a dedicated car park but spaces can't be reserved and it's pay per stay. It was £6 overnight, no concessions. I was worried we might not get a space but midweek there were plenty of disabled bays. The way round to the entrance was a short distance but some large planters made the pavement a tight squeeze for a wheelchair.
Access
Apart from the narrow pavement outside, it was mostly good. Smooth, level floors in entrance lobby (carpet in bar and rooms). Lifts required room key. Check in has on line option to save time but still need to see receptionist. Sadly neither reception desks or automatic kiosks have lowered sections so all had to be done with a crick in my neck. Once on the level of or room, it was a short push to reach it. Room door was heavy. Once inside, loads of turning space. Though carpeted, self propelling was ok. Wet room was large and well equipped.
Toilets
There was a wet room with sliding door in our room. There was a disabled loo in the ground floor area by the lifts. Sadly not signposted so I only found it by chance.
Staff
Reception staff saw me later and checked everything was fine.
