Overview
Me, my 2 brothers and my dad all stayed in this Premier Inn on the 7th of January before we went to Edinburgh airport and we also stayed in the Premier Inn on the 15th of January and it was a very present stay. Nice staff, good wheelchair accessible rooms and an excellent breakfast. Would highly recommend especially if using for going to Edinburgh airport.
Transport & Parking
Free Parking onsite. There are many disabled parking spaces and it is very easy to park and a short distance to walk to your hotel.
Access
As you walk up to the entrance of the premier inn then you enter the building through 2 automatic doors and then a member of staff should greet you and check you in to your room but if a member of staff does not greet you (sometimes they don't) then you can walk 100 meters to the self checking in machine. All you need to check in is your last name, I was emailed by premier inn saying that I needed my bank card to check in, however this is not true.
Toilets
If you book an wheelchair accessible room then you should have a double bed and an nice and spacious, fully accessible toilet with hand rails and a walk in shower which is perfect for a wheelchair user.
Staff
On our first night at the premier inn, no staff spoke to any of us. On the way back however, a member of staff greeted us at the door and checked us in to our rooms. However my disabled room had a double bed instead of two single beds so I asked a member of staff if there was any chance they could give us two single beds instead of a double bed and she said "No problem" so we moved rooms. Very helpful staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
A fan kept making a noise during my first night.
