Overview

With a Premier Inn, you know what your getting and the standards that are set. Accessibility from the car park area and into the building excellent, my room was an accessibility room directly next to the front door and dining area. It was large, bright and fully equipped toilet with grab rails, red chord and all the equipment was at a lower height.

Transport & Parking

We travelled by taxi from the railway station, they have various areas for parking with disabled bays next to the ramp entry of the Inn. There was a bus service we could see from the window that stopped outside the Inn in both directions to and from the city.

Access

All easy access, entry by card system to accommodation areas, although over two floors with lift the accessible rooms are located near the front door and staff office area. No additional menu formats though the staff offered to read out the choices.

Toilets

In the bar and restaurant area, very large and spacious, shared with a baby changing area, grab rails, red chord easy accessibility.

Staff

As this has been a regular venue for us over the years, there a number staff who are known to us, the welcome was brilliant, offers of further information and assistance if needed, including a newspaper in the morning.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

Some of the staff wore face coverings, there were still screens in place at the reception point and the cleaning regime in the restaurant and bar area was very visible and regularly attended. Always a warm welcome at this particular Premier Inn, which we have been going to for 22 years.
