Lovely sized bathroom. comfy bedrooms. Very friendly Manager let us park near to unload and helped us,

Transport & Parking

we drove ourselves to the venue, it is off the beaten track so you need a car to get there. Parking is a little walk from the cottage over gravel. But the Manager Ann had arranged for us to park by the door to unload and allowed us to keep the car nearby. The manager arranged to have someone there to help us in with our bags. The path ways are all block paved

Access

There is a ramp up to the front door and a small step over into the door. Moving around the lounge was a little tight but Ann told us she is looking at putting different chairs in there. Ann is disabled herself so very much aware of our feelings. Bedroom was good to get around. The 2 single bedroom is a large room with plenty of space. The bathroom has a grab rail at the toilet. Ann arranged for a shower step for me to get into the shower.

Toilets

Good wide area, lots of room at the side for carer to help. Room for me to move around with me walker.

Staff

would give manager 10* so helpful with directions and helping us. Such a pleasure to be looked after. We felt safe.

the grounds are amazing. acres and acres of beautiful views. I was able to walk to the bench and sit and watch people in the distance fishing. I sat also in front of some of the other cottages. So relaxing. peaceful, tranquillity. special unspoilt. We will go again. They also have a function room which manager told us about and we will ask if we can sit in there as well next time.
