Overview
From the minute I came in the staff were really helpful and really nice, they stored my scooter for me and had a bit of banter with me. I made them aware that I might need to use the lift so one of the members of staff came and got us to take us on the lift. The foyer was really open but there was a lot going on. It was loud and busy and felt like sensory-overload. Once they opened the queue, we didn't have to wait. They sat us at the side, next to the queue, that was a little bit overwhelming because I felt like the people in the queue were looking at us. We were seated, next to the queue, right next to the door so we could hear how loud the previous performance was, and as people were leaving. When it came to the time to go in, they took us in first and let us choose where we wanted to sit and asked us if we needed anything. It was really nice. There were bits of the show where I jumped out of my skin because there were 'bangs' and flashing lights, but it didn't put me off the rest of the show, it was just because I wasn't expecting it. The show itself was really good, amazing. The part where the comedian was playing 'Angel' was my favourite bit. I enjoyed his use of props too. They were playing 90s music and made you feel like you were in The Bronze, it was so good. I was sad when it was over!
Transport & Parking
I got a taxi but he took me to the wrong place. There are two venues with 'Pleasance' in the name and he got confused. It wasn't really clear. I had to get 2 taxis, but the second one knew where to take me. I didn't recognise any public transport nearby. We managed to get a taxi straight away after we left.
Access
They had turning doors, and a side door which was open, they had a lift which was massive, good spacing. We could see everything we wanted to at the show, since they placed us in the front row. The signage was okay, the exits were lit up and you could see a member of staff there. Although no signage for the lift or accessible loos.
Toilets
I didn't see them. My friend who I went along with saw one.
Staff
The staff were brilliant. When I was leaving the guy who was bantering with me joked about taking my scooter up Princes St! They also helped us get the lift which was good and to our seats. They were good at interacting with people. I would definitely go back there.
