Transport & Parking

The square is in the town centre, next to the old harbour. Three sides are padestrianised but cars can access one side of the square, and at this point taxis, which are inexpensive can drop you off and there is a taxi rank with waiting taxis for when you want to leave.

Access

The square is mainly level. There is a raised middle section, which can be accessed by steps or ramps. This area has palm trees and provides a shady spot to see, relax and watch the world go by. There is also a children's play area which included an accessible swing. The square is surrounded by a number of restaurants and cafe which have outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating consists of free standing tables and chairs.

This is a very pleasant square with a nice atmosphere to come sit, eat, drink and relax in and easy to get to.
