This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Mobility Scooter
Overview
We like to identify mobility scooter accessible locations that have pleasant gardens and other facilities to stroll around. Pittencrieff Park ticks all these boxes nicely.
Transport & Parking
We used the access at the north west end of the park ( drive through the main parking area ) , and you can then drive up to the Peacock building where there is additional disabled parking. From here there is a ramp into the café.
Access
Access is generally very good
Toilets
We only used the toilets in the Peacock café but they were very clean and accessible , can't comment on other toilets within the park.
Staff
Those we met were very pleasant and helpful.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
As other commenters have observed , parks and gardens take on a different appearance in the winter months , but if you are just looking for a pleasant environment with good accessible facilities to spend some time and get a bit of fresh air whilst in Dunfermline this is an excellent choice.
