Overview
Newly disabled, wheelchair user first independent café trip... Son had his driving theory test down the road. Lucky to find parking on this street. Typical town parking. Dropped my son at the test centre then hunted for somewhere to be. What I saw was: Venue with step Venue with step Venue with step Venue with step Venue with step Venue with step PINS Social Club...no step!!! Scooted over the road and in. Wasn't sure what the craic was with where to sit so asked girl at counter. She was amazing. Friendly, polite, professional. She advised I could sit anywhere so I did. Table found. Space was very chilled as it was daytime. Service was fantastic. Saw charging points and plug sockets. Had two cups of tea...what happens next? Those two cups have got to go somewhere. I was told when I arrived where the toilet was. I used the lift to get there. Very spacious outside the toilet, spacious and spotless inside. Upstairs has pool tables and more so I imagine I will return for an night soon. All in all fantastic.
Transport & Parking
Typical town parking. Multistorey parking nearby but you might grab street space if lucky
Access
Can't fault it
Toilets
Spacious and spotless. My two favourite things
Staff
Possibly the kindest most helpful staff I've seen since I became disabled
