Access
Paths small compacted gravel, some slopes but a lot a thought been put into access. Benches around gardens to relax. Ramp into castle. Reasonably level ground floor. Very interesting tour. Access to castle is with tour only, and the tour guide very helpful and friendly. The gardens and woodland areas are beautiful. Well worth a visit. Good cafe eating . Gift shop, plant sale. Loads to do outside. Zoo, is accessible. Maze and boardwalk is great for kids but not great for wheelchairs. Good signage and maps are given .
Toilets
Basic , no radar key. Can get wheelchair in, Clean but not laid out that great. Have been in a lot worse ,
Staff
The staff couldn't do more to help Welcoming, considerate, and respectful. The tour was excellent of the Castle, well worth the extra cost.
