Disabled Access Day 2017
We are a historic community cinema and registered charity. We are providing BSL tours of our cinema & projection booth and two subtitles screenings one of which is available with audio description.
This tour is a free event as part of Disabled Access Day and will be signed by a BSL interpreter.
Have you always wondered how cinemas work? Would you love a chance to see inside a projection room? Are you intrigued by the incredible history of the Phoenix? Then come along to the cinema for a tour led by our wonderful Phoenix volunteers!
You’ll learn about the history of our beautiful auditorium and get to see behind the scenes. Tours ast approx. 45 mins and there is space for 10 people per tour. Please note, access to the projection room at the end of the tour is via a long steep flight of stairs.
