Brilliant new Museum

Overview
Owing to traffic issues on the way to Perth, we arrived later than booked for the Stone of Destiny visit. The staff were understanding and gave us an alternative slot. The delay also restricted our ability to see more of the museum.
Transport & Parking
No disabled parking at venue, but since it is in the heart of the city centre pedestrianised area, there are various options around which do not require extensive walking. Blue badge also allows access to the pedestrianised streets so dropping off and parking elsewhere seems achievable. Bus station is not too far away, but railway station is probably a bit far for an easy walk DO NOT rely on the postcode on the web site for directions. This took us to the old museum. Use the address and a town map if possible. I think staff are aware of this and were apologetic
Access
Ramped access and seemed to be lots of room inside to circulate and see the exhibits. Stone of Destiny experience is by free ticket and needs to be booked. This can be done online. It is a brief AV presentation as well as a chance to see the Stone
Toilets
Well provided with toilets including changing place
Staff
Friendly and helpful
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Excellent cafe with plenty space around tables and a good menu for meals and coffees
