Overview
Wheelchair accessible shop and cafe. A large percentage of the park is accessible .
Transport & Parking
The car park is large and has a rough surface but fine for a wheelchair or scooter. There are disabled spaces as you enter the car park. It’s reasonably well signed.
Access
Good signage . Step free access to the site, shop and cafe. The doors are not automatic though, although they are wide. There is step free access to the ponds closest to the shop and the wading area. The paths are accessible for scooters and wheelchairs in this area, although not tarmac. There is a wave garden which is accessible but not at the beginning. You have to go right to the end to find the ramp. The large adventure park and soft play are both accessible and there are toilets including disabled ones.
Toilets
Very clean disabled toilets with baby changing area.
Staff
Staff were lovely, helpful, friendly and lots of them!
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Further away from the shop area the paths can be a bit more muddy so would be better tried in good weather but there is more than enough to do without venturing out to the wider area. It was a great family day out , highly recommended.
