Lovely 2 nights stay whilst attending a family wedding

Overview
Looked at wheelchair accessible accommodation not too far from the Yorkshire Wolds, and came across a Marston's Inn hotel ion the outskirts of Whitby called the Penny Hedge. parking is free to hotel guests. The room (14) has a wet room with plenty of room for my powerchair to manoeuvre, and the bedroom area had plenty of room and enough electrical sockets to charge both our phones and my wheelchair. I am unable to comment on the comfort of the bed as my spine is so damaged that I have difficulty in any beds. The carpets were rutting up a little, as most carpets do so it would be a little more effort for manual chairs. The food was as expected from pub chains and decent choice and tasty. The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay, and are likely to visit again if in the area.
Transport & Parking
I drove there as we were attending a family wedding some 15 miles away in the hills. There is a bus stop nearby, but I have no information on which buses or times, but it is close to a large Sainsbury's store.
Access
Everything was level access, with cards to enter the accommodation block and rooms. The only point I would make is the room door was rather hard to push open due to the fire door spring.
Toilets
Plenty of grab rails in the wet room, as well as the pub disabled toilet. ( I did notice a card on the pull cord in the pub one) Both had plenty of space to get around with my large powerchair, and would have had room for carer assistance. The pub did not have a Changing Place.
Staff
The Manageress (fairly new to this particular pub, but has been in the trade for a number of years) was very helpful and friendly (as were all staff we met).
