Overview
For myself with limited mobility and poor balance, I found this place ideal, wide open spaces, so nobody bumped into me, swimming pool/leisure centre had direct and level access from the main hotel, and there was designated changing space and lockers, with wheelchair access to the pool, the easiest I have seen in any hotel. Plus bar, lounge and dining room were on the same level, with no steps to hinder me.
Transport & Parking
Parking spaces right at the door, plus the hotel staff recognise that not everybody disabled has a blue badge and still try ensure easy access, would phone in advance during holidays or weekends to let them know you have requirements as they are very busy.
Access
Lift to reception, lifts around hotel allowing access to all area, good access to swimming pool with pool built to allow wheelchairs right up to the edge of the pool. Dining room staff watch clients as they enter and seat accordingly. I have limited walking so seated close to the entrance and asked for dining table next to wall/window as with MS have sensory loss and find it difficult being in the middle of a room. This was noted and every visit had a table ready for me, even with staff change overs.

Anything else you wish to tell us?
I now look at places from the perspective of if I become dependant on using walking aids/chairs would this be a good place to visit and the answer would be yes. My walking is poor and limited and yet I felt safe to move around, and the staff were very good with others with less mobility than me. I can't see anywhere that was out of bounds in the hotel. Just don't go during school holidays as its very busy.
