Overview
After a stroll through the park exploring the gardens and glens the Peacock Rooms were a happy find. Looking at the front of the building we weren’t too sure how you accent the steps if you’re on wheels. The mystery was loved by walking around the edge of the building toward the rear; albeit it may have been the front. Here was a nice lengthy, gradual ramp up toward the doors.
Transport & Parking
There was parking close at hand but we walked through the park to get there.
Access
The access was generally very good although a wee sign indicating the wheelchair accessible route in would be a great help. Once up the ramp getting in the doors was easy and there was plants of space to move around. Even managed a table by the windows with views across the park.
Toilets
The toilets were fine but trickier than they needed to be with the transfer space obstructed with baby changing gear.
Staff
Warm and welcoming.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
A lovely spot for refreshments after a meander through the pathways of the park.
