Overview

There is a large step at the entrance. The café has no ramp. I was not able to get in. Zero stars.

Transport & Parking

2

This café is in the heart of Covent Garden. Covent Garden tube station is not step-free. There are no step-free stations nearby. There are plenty of buses in the surrounding area but none of them will drop you in the heart of Covent Garden.

Access

0

I was not able to get into the café because there is a big step at the entrance and the café has no wheelchair ramp of any sort. Zero stars.

Toilets

0

Because I was not able to get into the café, I'm not able to rate the toilets.

Staff

0

The member of staff I spoke to was apologetic but that is not enough. There should be a ramp available.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

It is astonishing that a busy café in the heart of Covent Garden refuses to admit wheelchair users. The Café Paul chain is exposing itself to possible legal difficulties over this. It has been a requirement for over twenty years to make venues accessible to disabled people.
