Overview

Run by a highly-talented husband and wife team, this cafe serves savoury meals as well as patisserie and great coffee. It is also a good place to buy bread. The only reason we haven't given this venue five stars is that there is no accessible loo. It is excellent in every other way.

Transport & Parking

Can't comment on the parking. The venue is close to Haymarket Train Station and Tram stop, and well served by Lothian buses 12, 26 and 31

Access

A slight slope up to the door which might make access a bit tricky if the staff were not as alert and helpful as they always are. They see you coming and open the door for you,

Toilets

The loos are down a flight of stairs in the basement and therefore not accessible. There is a radar key loo at Haymarket Train Station close by.

Staff

Highly talented chefs/pastrycooks and well-trained, courteous and helpful staff serving and waiting at tables.

A great place for coffee, cakes, pastries or a meal. They also do take-away and are open for breakfast.
