Overview
A visit to the home of Racing 92 for the Champions Cup game V Munster, my second visit to the La Défense Arena & yet again it did not disappoint, a quality display of Rugby and an accessible delight it’s a must visit for any Rugby fan!
Transport & Parking
My hotel was rolling distance from the stadium but there are public transport options available if you are further away including the Metro (5 mins wheel away from ground) or you could also get a taxi. Not sure of any parking availability.
Access
A very modern arena with flat surfaces outside that are very easy to wheel/navigate. Once inside the arena, it is very well sign posted and has large lifts to take you to the correct level. The floors are very smooth and spacious and the wheelchair spaces are clearly marked with ♿️. The wheelchair spaces are also amongst other supporters so it doesn’t take away any of the atmosphere around you, you can also see the full length of the pitch despite there being a barrier in front of you. There’s also a big screen situated in the stand so you can see the play more closely when it’s happening down the other end of the of pitch. Food & Drink Kiosks are also also available throughout the stadium and are fully accessible at Wheelchair height as well as a Haribo Sweet Dispenser (one of my highlights).
Toilets
Accessible Toilets are available but I haven’t needed to use them on any of my visits.
Staff
Staff are always very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
