Overview
I had totally written off any venue that is at the cowgate as it's a very unaccessible area in general I find but I was pleasantly surprised to find a venue with good access in this area. For this trip I was in a lightweight folding powerchair. I used the side entrance which was easy to get in the only issue I had was the lip on the way out took a few tries to get over. It was very spacious and easy to get around, the round tables where the perfect hight so I could get my legs under. The toilet is great but could do with a handle on the outside , I had to get someone to open the door for me. The placement of the hand drier is a little off as it's right next to the toilet so hard to get to but that's a minor thing. The hardest part about visiting was navigating the pavements and cobbles outside, I would advise them to contact the council and put pressure of them to improve the pavements so their customers find it easier. The only other thing I noticed was that they advertise being dog friendly but their access information is difficult to find so I'd like to see them priorities advertising their accessibility. Over all a good experience and will definitely be going back.
Transport & Parking
We where able to park at "Tron Square" which is the residential are behind the venue with a blue badge. The pavement from parking to the venue is too narrow for a wheelchair at points and had difficult drop kerbs. The road is cobbled and my powerchair had a bit of trouble.
