Overview

Had a very comfortable stay in this wheelchair accessible cottage. It is rare to find accommodation that is actually set up to accommodate the needs of a wheelchair user. The cottage sleeps 4, but we ended up using the spare room to store all our kit. We found plenty of places to visit in the local vicinity. Lymington is an old historic town, so not everywhere has level access or dropped kerbs. It is worth planning trips out before travelling.

Transport & Parking

Travelled by car. Offroad parking provided behind the cottage. Level access over tarmac from parking space to front door.

Access

Level access throughout this single storey accommodation. Rather tight turn from the bedroom to the bathroom for my husband's powered wheelchair.

Toilets

Overhead track hoist in bathroom to give access to the toilet. Handrail on left side. Commode and shower chair also available for use if requested at booking time. Reasonable turning space in bathroom for wheelchair and carer.
