Overview
A beautiful location but actual beach access is difficult if not impossible.
Transport & Parking
There’s plenty of parking but there’s a fairly steep hill and the car parking is on loose , uneven stones or grass. There aren’t any specific disabled places and Blue Badge holders have to pay for parking.
Access
Access to the actual beach ( which is beautiful) is firstly on a deep sandy path, then a narrow steep path overhung with prickly bushes before reaching deeper sand at the very bottom. There is no hard paving at all.
Toilets
There are public toilets at the top end of the car park. The disabled toilet needs a radar key but I didn’t use it so can’t confirm what’s inside.
Staff
There were no staff.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
There is more beach bordered by a promenade further into Hunstanton. Again, it’s virtually inaccessible being excessively stony. There are a few slopes down onto the beach but there’s no hard standing once you leave them. The promenade is accessible. There are disabled parking spots and toilets.
