Overview
Good cinema experience, friendly staff & good signage. Good parking and easy to grab a bite to eat before the film!
Transport & Parking
We drove and there is free Blue Badge parking. Can get busy though and sometimes all the outdoor disabled parking spaces are full. There is a multi storey car park attached to the shopping outlet centre. There are buses that stop at the Galleria but I'm unsure if they are wheelchair accessible.
Access
When you first arrive you see 4/5 steps leading towards the cinema entrance but there is a ramp through the doors on the left hand side. It's a modern cinema and all the screens are wheelchair accessible. At the entrance to each of the screens there is a helpful floorpan showing where the wheelchair accessible seating is.
Toilets
Saw signs for accessible loos but didn't use them.
Staff
At the venue - didn't need any specific help but everyone we met was pleasant. On the phone - staff member brilliant! I couldn't find access info on website so rang the number they provided & got great info.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Odeon is a member of the CEA scheme so you can get a Carer's ticket for free. If you're having trouble booking online you can ring up and they will do an unpaid reservation for you that you can pick up at the box office. Also, the accessibility info is actually on the website - it's a little hidden away - but once you get at it it's v helpful & includes number of wheelchair spaces per screen etc.
