Overview
Visited Nothe Fort with my husband, who uses a mobility scooter. Really good access for wheelchairs & scooters. Lifts available, plenty of nearby parking & extremely helpful staff.
Transport & Parking
Several parking areas close to the Fort with plenty of disabled spaces.
Access
Plenty of seating available. Lift to lower floor, where there are numerous historic displays. Also to upper level & access to the ramparts. All very easy to navigate with smooth, level floors and plenty of ramps. Small lift also to go up three stairs to the outside deck.
Toilets
Large accessible toilet but it could do with a bigger hard area outside to make turning on a scooter easier.
Staff
Very welcoming & informative. Plenty of staff on hand and offering to help.
