Overview
Great day out with easy access. Holt & Sheringham have good disabled parking facilities very close to the station with step free access to the platform. Travellers can cross the tracks at Sheringham & Weybourne without using the footbridge with staff permission Holt generally only uses one platform, the other is accessible without steps but is a bit of a walk & only used on gala days. Volunteers are available to help you on/off the trains with a ramp available. Obviously options are limited for wheelchair users due to the nature of heritage railways but there's always the chance to travel in the guards carriage with a little seating for others too. Prices are very reasonable all things considered & you can get a variety of trains from steam to diesel from coaches & loco to a DMU/railcar. It's a great day out we've been many times the views are fantastic especially in the snow. If you live nearby you can get a residents permit that gets you 75% discount on fares. Theyre also dog friendly from pets to assistance dogs The railway have been brilliant regarding being covid safe
