Overview
Wanted to visit this popular fine dining bistro for a while and wasn’t disappointed . Fully accessible. Delicious food , especially seafood ,exceptional staff, and over all an enjoyable visit, worth the scary drive to Scalpay! The owner/chef , came to chat with us which was a nice touch, and he and his team were extremely helpful with my booking enquiries
Transport & Parking
The drive from Harris to Scalpay is not for the faint hearted! I have a new electronic accelerator on my hand controls, and would have struggled with my old hand controls, especially in the dark Parking limited at the venue, we had to park a short distance away in the street Beware of goats wandering in the street after dark…
Access
A small venue on the level Ramp access
Toilets
One loo does all, roomy , clean and plenty grabrails, easy to find
Staff
Fabulous, from first phone calls and messages. Accommodated my power chair, and moved more furniture on arrival to provide extra comfort. Friendly and welcoming , checked we were comfortable frequently, as mentioned, the owner sat with us for a chat at the end of our meal which was a nice touch
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Would advise booking as the venue is small, and very popular
