Overview
Visited this lovely community garden, it is quite rough terrain however this adds to the uniqueness of the situation. It was quite windy while we were there but was still lovely it would be great if it was calmer & would be a great place to sit & relax, calmly & quietly.
Transport & Parking
The parking is quite haphazard but there is enough space for a few cars, no specific disabled parking areas though. I think it would usually be very quiet though with possibly only 1 car.
Access
As will be seen on the photos the paths are rough with just gravel but I managed ok all around the garden in my electric wheelchair. It is all worked on & maintained by local volunteers.
Toilets
No accessible toilets here.
Staff
There was a couple of volunteers in the garden while we were there & they were very friendly speaking to us, explaining about the garden & the flowers in it. My sister was there & she asked if she could get a piece of a plant for her garden, they were very obliging & she left a donation in their donation box.
