Overview
Great new addition to Leith. Fresh, seasonal Scottish grub served up in sleek, minimalist surroundings. Food delivered to tables by the chefs that cook it is a nice touch. However, portions a bit on their minimalist side.
Transport & Parking
On street parking available in surrounding cobbled streets. Area well served by Lothian Buses.
Access
To access the restaurant you must go through two separate doors. The first has a small lip and is a normal push door. The second is a set of double doors. (I needed assistance to get through these doors, but no disabled button available.) The restaurant is split across two levels divided by a single step so only the upper floor is accessible to wheelchair users. This upper area comfortably sat our party of eight, but could probably seat up to double that.
Toilets
There are a pair of thick curtains that separates the accessible loo from the rest of the restaurant which look great, but get in the way. The accessible loo itself is fantastic. It is very spacious and includes numerous grab rails. I can't remember if that was an alarm?
