Difficult getting toe in the door, Newland Podiatry 2nd floor
Visit date:
This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Powerchair
Overview
Parking on site good, small lift but managed to get to 2nd floor . Call button/intercom and door to get through impossible if in chair. very tight corridor with extremely tight turn right in to waiting room
Transport & Parking
two spaces, one hatched. but quite tight if you have a WAV can't turn round need to reverse back out!
Access
As a NHS building dealing with feet it's not easy to get to if in chair. Intercom system can't use as two high and corridor very tight. Low height window to talk to staff.
Toilets
Toilets available on second floor have to ask staff. decent size new fittings left transfer.
Staff
Reception staff Not exactly polite or helpful, could have opened door near reception to help get in but just watched struggle. Podiatry nurse was brilliant though
Anything else you wish to tell us?
Not impressed for a NHS building dealing with feet considering , patients likely not to be able to walk or have foot problems anyway. Second floor tight corridor doesn't help.
