This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Wheelchair
Overview
No parking for disabled, all taken by staff. No automatic press pads at doors so wheelchair users always need a second person with them to open doors for them, but academic anyway because wheelchairs can't go through a single door, both need opening, so wheelchair users actually need 2 people with them! On top of that, the disabled toilet on ground floor is not big enough to take a wheelchair and/or carer, and a wheelchair user cannot even get into a courtroom! I had to drag myself out of my chair and haul myself along a line of chairs put in place for me by an usher. How humiliating is that? My wheelchair is just 2 inches wider than a 'normal one'.
Transport & Parking
Staff take the 2 only available spaces so we had to park 100 meters away (facing the wrong way up a one way street) and my carer then had to push me UPHILL to the law courts. Outrageous, possibly illegal. And this is the place to go to for justice!
Access
Doors not wide enough, toilets not big enough, corridors and waiting areas all too narrow too.
Toilets
Not enough room for wheelchair or carer, most painful experience of my life
Staff
Staff as helpful as they could be, all accepted situation was woeful but said that nothing could be done

This venue exists to ensure that everyone else in the country obeys the laws about disablement, and then ignores it itself.
