Overview
The ruins of Newcastle Emlyn Castle are beautiful the path is quite steep but I have managed it on both manual wheelchair scooter and now electric wheelchair I would recommend going when there have been a few dry days this is very much and outside experience
Transport & Parking
There is a pay & display right next to it.
Access
The first bit of the walk is quite steep and can be a little treacherous but it is safe to use and the hole path is actually quite safe I've used it a number of times you will get muddy wheels though.
Toilets
There is a disabled loo in the Clocktower leading up to the Castle.
Staff
There are no staff at this facility
Anything else you wish to tell us?
I have found the ground at Newcastle Emlyn Castle very nice easily usable although I would use one entrance at the far end of the castle and not the one with the cobblestones because that can be quite treacherous at times due to ice making the past slippery I go there very regularly with my assistance dog and it is an enjoyable experience and nice to get out.
