Overview
The NCP in New Bridge Street used to provide plentiful accessible parking for central Manchester, albeit a bit expensive on event nights. Following the terrorism on 22 May 2017, understandable increased security has closed off the only step free access from this car park, unless attending an event in the Arena and you hold a ticket. Raising the issue with NCP appears to be denial that there is an issue, or they have any responsibility for it. If you park there, then find you cannot exit, there is no way to get an exit ticket and leave the car park in your car as the ticket machines are inaccessible to you. Great work NCP

Anything else you wish to tell us?
I’ve written to the CEO of NCP, I’m considering action under Equalities Act. Since making this submission I have written to the CEO and received a positive and constructive reply, with a promise to address the physical and organisational arrangement. Worth making the effort to ‘go to the top’.
