Overview
Easy viewing of the animals with smooth surfaces. Only a few reptiles not accessible. Spacious cafe and good sized toilet with grippy floor. Snacks only after 3. Parking one building away for double paid hrs. Friendly staff.
Transport & Parking
Pay and display one building away on the same side - blue badge gets you double time. Level pavement to the entrance.
Access
All level access. Some slopes but smooth terrain. Only a few reptiles not viewable in the reptile cave (which has low light). Low light in the aquarium. Low barriers to easily view animals from a low height. Manual doors into the large cafe and buildings. Great tropical house but if busy single pass only on some paths. Watch you don't wheel over a quail!
Toilets
Good size wheelchair accessible loo in the cafe. A second one near the exit but staff recommended the newer cafe one. See photo. No changing place.
Staff
Very attentive to the animals and people! Friendly and didn't rush us to go out - in fact they said go back in when we said we'd missed the aquarium at closing time.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We went Sunday afternoon and had the place to ourselves mostly - great if crowds are problematic. Be warned - you will want to take a baby seal home with you.
