Overview
What a lovely little place to visit, ideal short visit that disabled can manage for some of the areas, especially on a nice day. The cobbled entrance was quite easy enough to manage ( photo 3 ) which leads to gardens, and a pleasant place to sit and enjoy a drink, which is served from the old oak cafe, but it does have a step, so send your carer in to order. Guided tours of the house are available, a bit expensive, especially when disabled are very limited on what we can see, but if you can manage a step, then at least you can see the ground floor level. Each room is well presented and interesting, but forget upstairs.
Transport & Parking
We parked as described on town centre review.
Access
We can at least visit the gardens, as all on the level, and enjoy a nice cup of tea. Although guided tours are offered to see the house, it’s all upstairs, so no way can we make it, but it’s still worth going to see what you can.
Toilets
