Overview
Looking from the outside you can't help but wonder if the access is going to be OK. A modern building created in a layered fashion draws you in to explore.
Transport & Parking
Parking is available on site by arrangement. The Theatre complex is close to Waterloo Station which offers a range of connections and there are plenty of local buses and taxis.
Access
Venturing in to the building for the first time I found the wheelchair access to be really good. An automated door opens to let you in and once inside you can enjoy the offerings of the cafe or venture further in by using the ramped access. There are several lifts to take you to the various levels and all are spacious and easily accommodated my powerchair. The different areas of the building were accessible and offered a range of views out to the river. There were even accessible terraces where you could sit outside and enjoy the views. The signage was good and it was easy to move around.
Toilets
There was a good accessible loo near to the cafe area at ground level.
Staff
Staff were very helpful and happy to talk about the theatre and its accessibility.
