Overview

The venue is easy to navigate as everything is based on a one way system and at no point did I feel lost or confused. I found i really useful that it was a one way system as this meant everyone is flowing through in the same direction which was great for crowd control. The majority of the building is incredibly dark which I was not expecting an did struggle to see where I was going. I understand this is due to the welfare of the animals, however, it would have been useful to have pre-warning about how dark it was as I felt overwhelmed not being able to see where I was. Parts of the building did become very noisy but I was able to cope with this through using my loops. The centre do host quiet periods but I don’t think these are frequent which isn’t overly accessible. There are disabled toilets and lifts on site. The disabled toilets did not require a RADAR key which I always have mixed feelings on regarding accessibility. Overall, the venue was easy to navigate but got a low accessibility rating as I couldn’t see where I was going which made me feel less confident in navigating the area. Staff were all very kind and helpful.
