Overview
I go to the museum here at least 2 to 4 times a month. It is fantastic! The staff go out of their way to help and assist everyone. I will admit I tend to avoid the first few weeks of a major exhibit, but every one goes out of their way to assist. Every floor has at least 1 disabled toilet which is wheelchair accessible but I've yet to find one that is pokey and cramped. I only use the coffee bars and bistro and cannot fault the help I've had. It is one of my favouite places in Edinburgh.
Transport & Parking
I have tended to use the bus service which stops outside the museum so I can't comment on the other facilities.
Access
Toilets
Clean, easy to use well marked and very spacious
Staff
I've never met anyone who would not help, even when busy they have radioed for someone else.
Anything else you wish to tell us?
We have had children with us when We attended. Staff try to help when and where they can. I went on a themed tour where the guide went out of their way to help me access everything on the tour.
