A number of wheelchairs are available for use within the museum which can be booked in advance. There are parking spaces for blue badge holders in the car park. Easy access toilets are available on three levels within the museum, two lifts are available one in particular to accesses all floors, both lifts contain audio announcements, braille and/or raised buttons. The museum shop is also wheelchair accessible and there is a lovely café inside the museum to grab a bite to eat serving a variety of food with really good service, within the café there are two heights of tables to accommodate wheelchair users and all seating is movable. Recommended for a fun day out with great facilities.

Anything else you wish to tell us?
Lots to get involved in especially if interested in science, photography and media. The IMAX was fantastic, great screen to watch films in 3D and a great atmosphere. The café was lovely with plenty selection of food and drinks.
