Overview
I use the NLS reading rooms to study however this day I only came in for a visit and used the cafe.
Transport & Parking
Public transport is good, I don’t know where parking is available
Access
Two platform lifts are at the front of the library (on either side of the steps). The ground floor is all level, the cafe, exhibition, locker room and sign up room are here. To get up to the reading room there is a lift and pushpads to get into the rooms. Height adjustable desks are available. The cafe has a low counter and there are seats near the stairs
Toilets
This is to the right hand side of ground floor. Lots of space for a powerchair / scooter and a companion. Handrails and red cord there, all great!
Staff
All lovely - lady at the cafe carried my tray to a table for me
