Sightseer - Chapter 5

Great exhibition ...

4.5

Visit date:

This review is especially helpful for those who have or use the following: Powerchair

Overview

I visited to see the exhibition. Access was via a platform lift and once inside its a great space.

Transport & Parking

3.5

No nearby parking but I came on an accessible bus that stopped outside so that was good.

Access

4.5

Getting in was easy as a powerchair user with wide doors and level access. A platform lift takes you up to the main level where everything was accessible. I could get around the exhibition, shop, cafe and the accessible loo.

Toilets

4.5

A very good accessible loo with a surprising amount of space. Particularly liked the full length mirror. Lever taps would be nice as the standard taps were hard to use. Everything you'd expect to find and clean and tidy.

Staff

5

The staff were great. Particular thanks to the security man who helped me use the platform lift.

Anything else you wish to tell us?

One of Edinburgh's hidden gems - could easy spend more time browsing the exhibition.
