Overview
Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The building is very modern, light and airy. Lots of space. The museum is spread over 3 floors, all easily accessible via a spacious lift. The bulk of the exhibits are on the first floor, the 'Match Gallery'. Lots of memorabilia, trophies etc along with a few video features. Level 2 is the 'Play Gallery' with activities for mainly younger visitors. Level 3 is the 'Score Gallery' with some art work. The accessible toilets are on the ground floor and were roomy and very clean. The cafe is also on the ground floor next to the shop and has plenty of seats with lots of space.
Transport & Parking
I used the local bus (service 135) bus stop is right next to the museum.
Access
There is a door adjacent to the main entrance for disabled/wheelchair access. Lots of space in the museum, plenty of seats. Lift is easy to use and very roomy
Toilets
Only on the ground floor. Excellent
Staff
Very friendly and helpful. The young lady in the cafe brought my coffee and cake to the table.
